If you take on single players, not only do you get to meet new people, you also get a refund to help with your team fees!

What prizes do we get if we win?

The winning team gets a Play Sask champions T-shirt that changes every season! And we believe in spreading the love with prizes — we’re also lining up swag for best spirit. Plus, keep an eye of for random giveaways throughout the season.

How long does the season run?

Fall 2018
The season starts Sept. 8, and runs until Dec. 15. There are no games on Oct. 6, Oct. 13, Nov. 3, or Nov. 10. The last game of the season is a playoff game, and won’t appear on the schedule until after the last regular season game is played.

Winter 2019
The season starts Jan. 12, and runs until April 13. There are no games on Feb. 16 for the long weekend. The last two games of the season are playoff games, and won’t appear on the schedule until after the last regular season game is played.

Can I register as a single player?

Yes! For singles, early bird registration is $65, and after early bird, it goes up to $75. That’s only $5-$6 per game! We’ll either find a team for you to play on, or build a draft team, depending on how many registrants we get.

How many players should we have on our team?

Teams have five players on the field, with at least two people of the opposite gender, so we recommend 7 to 9 people on the roster to make sure you have enough subs.

What is the level of play? What if I’m a beginner?

Play Sask’s focus on fun means we offer a casual, just for fun environment for our sports. All levels of play are welcome, especially beginners! Advanced players are also welcome, just make sure you keep it light.
