Games are scheduled for every Sunday at either 3 p.m. or 4 p.m. at The Sutherland Bar beach volleyball courts.
The first game of the season is on Sunday, May 13, and games run every Sunday until Aug. 28. The last two games of the season are playoff games, and won’t appear on the schedule until after the last regular season game is played on Sunday, Aug. 12.
Teams have six players on the field, with at least two people of the opposite gender, so we recommend nine to 12 people on the roster to make sure you have enough subs.
Play Sask’s focus on fun means we offer a casual, just for fun environment for our sports. All levels of play are welcome, especially beginners! Advanced players are also welcome, just make sure you keep it light.
Outdoor leagues run rain or shine unless there is standing water. Play Sask will inform captains of cancellations due to extreme weather two hours before the start of the first game. See the rest of our rain out policy in our policies and procedures.
Yes! For singles, early bird registration is $80, and after April 4, it goes up to $100. That’s only $6-$7 per game! We’ll either find a team for you to play on, or build a draft team, depending on how many registrants we get.
